We can customise almost any headlights depending on what you want to achieve.

Please keep in mind that when customising, we need to work on the existing housing. Hence customisation can be limited to certain extent. When it comes to making plastic moulds or producing new housing, or lens - these must be done in a factory setup or by the manufacturer of the parts.

We can customise taillights however our parts for it are very limited. Unlike headlights, each taillights require specific LED boards made for it. At the moment we have our own custom LED boards made for Holden VE sedan taillights, HSV tail gate, and FG sedan.

If you can find a DIY kit suitable for your taillights that you like, you can supply the kit to us and we can do installation which involve soldering the LEDs, wiring, and assembling the whole taillights for you.

We customise our headlights in-house! We gather our parts from our trusted suppliers overseas (which some being exclusively made only for us) but the magic of building happens in our shop, made by our small and hands-on team. You can trust that we will pay attention to every detail no matter how small it is!

Absolutely! If you can post or drop off your headlights to us, we can customise it instead of us sourcing a new set to customise for you.

Which could also help reduce the total cost as you wouldn't have to pay for the cost of the new headlights (to use for customisation).

Please make sure that the headlights you supply is in good condition without any broken plastics, brackets or holes present, and no missing breathers, to prevent condensation in the future. For lenses that are "yellowish" or have scratches we also offer lens restoration which is a long-term solution for headlight lens discolouration. Please ask one of our friendly team members for more information about lens restoration.

Alternatively, we are happy to source and supply you a new set of headlights to use for customisation. We most commonly source an aftermarket set being it is more affordable for our customers but if instructed to, we can also source and supply a genuine set of headlights.

The actual building process can take up to 1-2 days. If you are posting your headlights to us, please consider delivery time depending on your location.

Simple bulbs installation can be completed in 10- 30 minutes depending on what the access is like behind the headlights. We can also do bulbs installation for taillights and interior.

Installations that involve customisation where we take the headlights out to do the customisation, and re install it back again to the car, can take up to 1-2 days depending on what we need to customise, what seal is used in the headlights, and if there is a bulbar installed or not.

Underglow installation can take up to 1 day.

Ambient light installation can take up to 1-2 days.

The ETA for custom orders changes depending on the volume of orders and bookings we receive. Being a small team, we are limited to working on a certain number of orders per week hence there is a waiting time. Although this allows us to control and maintain high-quality product we want to produce and provide to our customers.

Our custom products are all made to order, and we don't produce on a large scale as every customer has their own style and preference.

Unfortunately, none of the custom headlights in the market is "ADR" (The Australian Design Rules) approved.

We recommend checking with the transport department in your state and obtaining an engineer’s report for all performance modifications that are carried out. It is also in your best interest to check with your insurance company that they will still cover your vehicle for any modification you intend on performing.

It is the responsibility of the purchaser, installer, and end user to make sure any modifications being carried out meets the road rules and regulations of the state they are in.

We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.

If there is a problem with your order, we will repair the item within a reasonable time as per warranty (please refer to our warranty policy for more information). If it is not repaired in a reasonable time, you can choose a refund or replacement. If a replacement part is not available, a refund of the original purchase price will be issued.

Assessment of the reported faulty item is at all times required before receiving a refund or replacement. We may ask for the faulty item to be returned to us which in this case the buyer will be responsible for any costs associated with posting the item back to Dan's Custom Car Lights.
